- No. It is a static code: the WIFI: string is encoded directly in the pixels, no server is involved, so it works offline forever and cannot be disabled or put behind a paywall.

- What size should I print the sign?
- At least 3 × 3 cm for the QR module itself; the single-sign layout targets roughly A5 and the 4-up layout gives credit-card-sized table cards. Guests often scan from an arm’s length away.
