Paste a link or pick Wi-Fi, vCard, text and more. Everything is encoded locally in your browser.
Style it
Pick colors, dot shapes, a logo or an official preset — the live preview updates as you go.
Download & print
Export PNG, SVG or EPS at print resolution. Static codes keep working forever once downloaded.
Never expires
Static codes encode your data directly. There's no server between your customer and your content — nothing we could switch off even if we wanted to.
No signup, no tracking
Static codes are generated 100% in your browser. Your WiFi passwords and contact details never touch our servers.

Frequently asked questions
Do HonestQR codes ever expire?+
Static QR codes never expire. Your data is encoded directly into the pattern in your browser — there is no server between the scanner and your content, so nothing can ever switch it off. Dynamic codes keep redirecting even if you cancel your plan.
How many times can my QR code be scanned?+
There is no scan limit — ever, on any plan, including free. Some competitors cap free dynamic codes at a few hundred scans; we never meter scans.
Can I use the QR codes commercially?+
Yes. Every code you generate is yours to use commercially — on menus, packaging, posters, business cards — with no watermark, no attribution and no license fee.
What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?+
A static code encodes your content directly, so it works forever but cannot be changed after printing. A dynamic code points to a short link you can edit anytime — even after printing — and it collects scan analytics. You get 3 dynamic codes free.
How do I track who scans my QR code?+
Create a dynamic code with a free account: you get scan counts, unique visitors, countries, devices and CSV export. Static codes are generated 100% in your browser and are never tracked — by design.
Will adding a logo make my QR code harder to scan?+
Not if it stays within safe limits. When you add a logo we automatically raise error correction to level H, which lets scanners recover up to ~30% of hidden modules. The generator warns you if the logo is too large and includes a one-click scan check so you can verify before downloading.
Which file format should I use for printing?+
Use SVG or EPS for print — they are vector formats that stay sharp at any size, from business cards to posters. PNG (up to 2048px) is best for screens, documents and quick sharing. EPS exports use square modules without logo or frame, which we state next to the download button.
What data is collected when someone scans my code?+
Static codes: nothing — they are generated entirely in your browser and never touch our servers. Dynamic codes pass through our redirect, which records aggregate scan counts, unique visitors, country and device type for your analytics. We do not set tracking cookies on the person scanning.
Burned by a "free" QR generator before?
You're not alone. The biggest player in this market has a 1.4/5 rating on Trustpilot from 9,000+ reviews, largely because codes people printed on menus, packaging and signs suddenly stopped working unless they paid up. We built HonestQR specifically so that can never happen to you.
