QR codes for automotive: every windshield is a landing page
A car on the lot sells itself best when the browsing customer can pull specs, price and financing on their own phone — evenings and Sundays included. A QR sticker on the window does that. In the service lane, codes handle appointment booking and reviews at pickup. HonestQR adds the honesty layer: static codes that never expire, dynamic codes you can repoint as inventory turns over.

Where dealerships and shops use QR codes
- Vehicle window stickers. Scan → the exact listing with photos, specs and payment calculator. Dynamic codes let you reuse stickers as cars sell.
- After-hours lot browsing. Customers walk the lot when you are closed; the code answers questions your closed showroom cannot.
- Service bay → next appointment. A code on the counter or invoice books the next oil change without a phone call.
- Review at pickup. Keys in hand, car fixed — the perfect review moment. One scan opens your Google review link.
- WhatsApp/SMS line. "Question about this car? Message us" — a chat code with a prefilled message that names the vehicle.
Inventory turns; stickers should not
Printing a fresh sticker per VIN is fine — until a code provider expires them and every windshield on the lot goes dark. HonestQR static codes cannot expire (content lives in the image), and dynamic codes are a flat $29/year for unlimited — repoint sticker #14 from the sold Corolla to the incoming RAV4 in seconds.

FAQ
Can one sticker be reused across vehicles? Yes, with a dynamic code: when the car sells, edit the destination to the next vehicle's listing. The printed sticker never changes.
We list 200 cars — can we generate codes in bulk? Yes. The free bulk generator takes a CSV of URLs and returns a ZIP of print-ready codes, one per row, no account required.
Do codes work through tinted glass? Place stickers on the inside of a side window facing out, use high contrast (dark on white), and print at 5 cm or larger. The scan tester tool lets you verify a photo of the installed sticker.
Will codes stop working if we cancel? No. If you cancel Pro, existing dynamic codes keep redirecting — that is a written promise. Static codes cannot expire at all because the content is encoded in the image itself.
