QR codes for real estate: one yard sign, every listing

← All QR code solutions

Yard signs and window cards are the most reused print assets in real estate — but a printed URL can only ever point at one listing. Put a dynamic QR code on the sign instead: when the property sells, repoint the code to your next listing and reuse the sign. The expensive failure here is a code that a provider expires while a sign is still in a yard — HonestQR is built so that cannot happen.

Scan analytics tell you which sign works

Dynamic codes count scans with timestamps and rough geography. Compare the yard sign against the flyer and the portal listing: if the sign gets 40 scans a week and the flyer gets 2, you know where to invest. 3 dynamic codes are free; unlimited is a flat $29/year — meaningful when you run dozens of listings.

  1. Open the free generator and paste the listing URL.
  2. Add your brokerage colors and headshot-free logo; verify the contrast check passes for outdoor light.
  3. Download EPS or PDF for the sign printer — yard-sign codes should be at least 5 × 5 cm.
  4. Make it dynamic so the same physical sign serves your next listing too.

FAQ

Can I reuse the same sign for a new listing? Yes — that is the core reason to use a dynamic code. Edit the destination in the dashboard and the printed sign now opens the new listing.

How big should a yard-sign QR code be? Bigger than menu codes: people scan from a car or the sidewalk. We recommend at least 5 × 5 cm, and our minimum-size guide has the distance math.

Do buyers need an app to scan? No. iPhone and Android cameras scan QR codes natively — point, tap the banner, and the listing opens in the browser.

What happens to my codes if I cancel? No. If you cancel Pro, existing dynamic codes keep redirecting — that is a written promise. Static codes cannot expire at all because the content is encoded in the image itself.
