Wedding QR codes: RSVPs on the invite, guest photos in one album

← All QR code solutions

Weddings generate three link-sharing problems: getting RSVPs back, collecting the hundreds of photos guests take, and pointing people at the registry without awkwardness. A QR code solves each — on the invitation, on table cards, on the welcome sign. And because wedding stationery is printed months ahead, HonestQR's no-expiry guarantee matters: a static code generated today will still scan at the reception, and on your tenth anniversary.

Where couples use QR codes

Printed months ahead — the code must not rot

Invitations go to print long before the big day, and some QR services expire "free" codes after 14–30 days — the classic wedding disaster thread. HonestQR static codes are generated in your browser and physically cannot expire. If you need to change destinations after printing (photo album link, updated wedding site), use a dynamic code: 3 are free with an account.

These templates preset the content type and styling — one click, then fill in your details:

Set up in five minutes

  1. Open the generator with the Event / RSVP template and paste your RSVP or wedding-site URL.
  2. Match your stationery palette — blush on ivory needs the contrast check; a darker foreground usually fixes it.
  3. Download SVG or PDF and send to your stationer; 2 × 2 cm minimum on invitations.
  4. If any link might change after printing, make that code dynamic — free for up to 3 codes.

FAQ

Will the code still work months after printing? Yes. Static codes encode the URL in the image itself and cannot expire. That is the guarantee wedding stationery actually needs.

Can guests upload photos without an account? That depends on your album service (Google Photos shared albums and similar work well). The QR code simply opens your album's upload link.

We printed the invites and the RSVP link changed. Now what? If the code is dynamic, edit the destination in the dashboard — done. If it was static, our fix-expired-qr tool explains your options.

Do elegant QR codes scan reliably? Yes if contrast stays high. Custom colors, rounded modules and a monogram logo are fine — the generator warns live when styling threatens scannability.
